About Me

John McCormick

I am John McCormick, part time manager at the family business, part time ski enthuisest and full time dad! I started this blog to highlight what I think are some of the best ski areas in The United States. The United States is home to some of the best ski locations in the entire world. From the Rocky’s in Colorado and New Mexico, all the way to the Appalachians in the North East. In addition to the blog posts that I am writing from each location. You can follow me on Facebook for live feeds of the mountains I explore. I have over 20 years of ski experience so I will be happy to answer any questions there as well.

A little about me that doesn’t pertain to the blog. I was born and raised in Mahopac, New York. When I was 14 I took up skiing and loved it from my first run. I met my wife Wendy, while studying physics at NYU. Wendy and I got married when I was 24 and I have been the luckiest man ever since. We have two beautiful daughters; Gobliano and Oprah. These girls are my world but this is all the attention they will get in this blog because this is all about skiing. I think you know enough about me now.
